Professionally responded to student/parent inquires using extensive knowledge of Banner and all of the Student Enrollment Center’s offices including financial aid, records and registration and billing inquires. Ability to remain calm when dealing with emotional, difficult and distressed students and parents. Processed a large volume of student change of major requests and updated addresses in student records.
➢ Served as Administrative Assistant for the Vice President and six staff members of the Research and Economic Development at a state university. Managed the Vice President ever-changing calendar and scheduled appointments and meetings for the entire staff. Responsible for extensive travel arrangements and processing of all required documentation for before, during and after travel. Managed the budget and processing of invoices, SAP orders, sponsorships and events. Coordinated the operations associated with the Innovation Center space that included almost 300 events and 7,000 visitors. Scheduled facilities work orders, catering and audio/visual arrangements for the meetings and events. Supervised the CILLs intern and approved and tracked graduate assistant hours. Provided other administrative duties such as filing, copying and mail distribution for the RED staff and the Business Accelerator companies in the Innovation Center.
