Branch Administrator – Ashley Ellis
Willing to relocate: Anywhere
Authorized to work in the US for any employer
2013 to Present
Working at Ashley Ellis I have taken on the daily tasks of a branch administrator – providing direct support to the branch manager, as well as the recruiters in the office. Some daily tasks include payroll, light human resources (I9 verification, W9, W4), answering phones, greeting visitors, working directly with clients, keeping the branch website & job boards up to date (Monster, Careerbuilder, Dice). As a skilled trades recruiter I’ve done full cycle recruitment for skilled trades’ candidates. I have placed electricians, plumbers, project managers, carpenters as well as customer service representatives and administrative assistants.
2013 to 2013
My role at Curtain Time has been spent as the office administrator. In this role I have taken on the daily tasks of the office manager, working directly under the owner of the company. Doing accounts payable/receivable in Quickbooks 2012, as well as working with various reports in Microsoft Excel. My daily tasks also included answering phones, taking custom inquiries, working directly with our many vendors locally and nationwide. I have also spent time working in the front of the store filling in the sales associates as needed, which furthered my face to face customer service skills.
2012 to 2013
In the short time that I have spent working at Direct Buy I’ve had the experience of gaining knowledge of products in the home improvement field. Not only did I deal with customers face to face on a daily basis, but also dealt with customers via email as well as on the phone. I also worked one on one with the various vendors when problems needed escalation for a speedy resolution. I was back up for reception when needed and learned to use the company’s two computer systems, TOPS and Hinkle. I spent a great deal of time taking orders, researching product, working one on one with customers as well as daily office tasks such as but not limited to creating filing systems, organizing, faxing, scanning, etc.
2010 to 2011
My tasks while working as a recruiter with Volt Workforce Solutions were to work one on one with potential candidates daily to match up their skill sets with assigned jobs. This involved spending a lot of time on the phone, making cold calls, working with Volt Workforce Solutions’ host search program which allowed full access of resumes posted on Monster and CareerBuilder. As the majority of the time I worked one on one with the general public, I also worked closely with several clients that we recruited for. I had excellent relationships with the hiring managers I worked closely with. I also spent time as back up for the branch administrator – answering phones, human resources duties; filling out paperwork with candidates, running background checks using Volt Workforce Solutions’ vendors. I was in direct contact with our payroll department for any issues candidates may have had with their pay for any given week. Other basic office duties such as organizing, filing, copying, faxing, scanning, etc. were completed.
2000 to 2010
In nearly 9 years of time spent with the company, many tasks were handled. Basic office duties in the beginning, data entry and filing. Answering phones on a switchboard of over 100 extensions with 4 different lines. As time went on responsibilities increased to assisting client services representatives, dealing directly with the multiple clients for the company. Being trusted with the responsibility of handling the new business submitted to the company from these clients. My position has grown tremendously over the last year and I’ve taken on responsibilities at a senior administrative level. Microsoft Office experience is required and a skill used daily. Throughout my time at the company I’ve had a hand in payroll as well as human resources.
